Court awards life imprisonment in murder case

SARGODHA, Jul 16 (APP): Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Ejaz-ur-Rehman Baig on Thursday handed down life imprisonment to an accused in a murder case. According to the prosecution, the accused, Mubashir Hussain, had killed a man namely Aziz, a resident of Jhal Chakiaan, over a domestic dispute. The Jhal Chakiaan police had registered a case (FIR No. 720/25) against the accused under sections 302 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

After hearing the arguments and examining the solid evidence, the court found the accused guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment. The judge also imposed a fine of Rs 500,000 on the convict.
