SARGODHA, Jun 20 (APP): Commissioner Sargodha Division Shaukat Ali and Regional Police Officer (RPO) Shahzad Asif Khan on Saturday visited the Safe City Control Room to review security arrangements for majalis and mourning processions across the division’s four districts.
During the visit, the officials monitored multiple locations via CCTV cameras and received a detailed briefing from SP Amir Mushtaq regarding the surveillance system, emergency response protocols and overall security arrangements.
They also inspected operational desks and interacted with the duty staff to assess their preparedness and response capacity.
The officials inquired about procedures for timely communication with relevant departments in case of emergencies.
The commissioner and RPO remained at the control room for an extended period to closely review the monitoring system and security arrangements in place ahead of the religious events.
They directed the staff to remain on high alert and emphasized the need for effective coordination among departments to ensure the protection of lives and property during the upcoming majalis and processions.
