SARGODHA, Jun 20 (APP): Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Saturday visited Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital to inspect healthcare facilities and review the provision of medical services to patients, officials said.
During the visit, he inspected various wards, the pharmacy and other sections of the hospital.
The commissioner also interacted with patients and their attendants, seeking feedback on the quality of treatment and the availability of free medicines.
Expressing satisfaction over ongoing efforts, he directed the hospital administration to further improve service delivery and ensure the provision of the best possible medical facilities.
He stressed the need to maintain cleanliness, ensure staff attendance and guarantee the uninterrupted availability of essential medicines.
Hafiz Shaukat Ali said the provision of quality healthcare facilities to the public remained a top priority of the Punjab government and warned that negligence in patient care would not be tolerated.
Earlier, hospital officials briefed the commissioner on the performance of various departments, operational challenges and measures being undertaken to enhance healthcare services.
The commissioner directed the relevant officers to utilize all available resources to provide maximum relief and improved facilities to patients.
