Commissioner reviews development projects, facilities at Chak Jhumra

Divisional Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen reviewed ongoing development projects and public facilities during a detailed visit to Chak Jhumra tehsil.

FAISALABAD, Apr 21 (APP):Divisional Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen reviewed ongoing development projects and public facilities during a detailed visit to Chak Jhumra tehsil.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that provision of basic amenities to citizens remained the top priority in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
During her visit, the Commissioner inspected the under-construction office of the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) and reviewed the pace of work.
She directed officials to ensure transparency at all costs and complete the building at the earliest.
She also visited Jinnah Park Chak Jhumra, where she checked recreational facilities and issued instructions to further enhance the park’s attractiveness.
She emphasized that quality recreational facilities must be ensured for the public.
Later, she toured Mochi Bazaar and conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing beautification project, directing authorities to expedite the work.
She stressed zero-tolerance policy for any lack of transparency and said that while facilitating the business community, providing an appealing environment for shoppers was equally important. Similar projects were being completed across all four districts of the division, she added.
The divisional commissioner also visited the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Chak Jhumra, where she inquired after patients admitted in various wards.
She checked attendance of doctors and staff, availability of medicines in the store, record maintenance and cleanliness conditions.
She also sought feedback from patients and their attendants regarding provision of medicines at the hospital.
Earlier, she met officers participating in the 39th Senior Management Course at National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Lahore, at the Commissioner Office and welcomed them.
She briefed the officers about the historical, cultural, industrial and geographical importance of the Faisalabad division, as well as its administrative affairs. Resolution of public issues was the foremost priority, she added.
The divisional commissioner also highlighted ongoing initiatives in the health and education sectors, beautification projects and public welfare measures.
She informed participants about the industrial relocation plan under which industries causing water and air pollution would be shifted to designated industrial zones in phases.
She said that development schemes were being executed across the division in line with the vision of the chief minister.
The Commissioner also responded to questions from the visiting officers.
Shields were exchanged at end of the session while the delegation appreciated comprehensive briefing and thanked the commissioner for her hospitality, he added.
