Divisional Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen has directed immediate steps to shift the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (CPWB) to solar energy for ensuringuninterrupted power supply and improvement in the facilities for resident children.

FAISALABAD, Apr 21 (APP):Divisional Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen has directed immediate steps to shift the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (CPWB) to solar energy for ensuringuninterrupted power supply and improvement in the facilities for resident children.
During her visit to the institute, the divisional commissioner also decided to coordinate with Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) for effective load management to avoid power disruptions.
She instructed the authorities concerned to initiate measures for renovation and beautification of the building particularly emphasizing the improvement of washroom facilities.
The divisional commissioner met with orphaned and destitute children residing at the institute and visited classrooms to review ongoing educational activities.
District Officer Rubina Iqbal briefed her about the institute’s performance and services.
Inspecting the kitchen, she expressed satisfaction over the food preparation process and cleanliness standards, and appreciated the administration for maintaining hygiene.
Madam Musarrat Jabeen said that the divisional administration was actively working to support orphaned and abandoned children, adding that special focus was being given to providing education, training and recreational facilities to ensure their well-being.
She also commended the overall performance and efforts of the Child Protection Institute staff in caring for vulnerable children.
