Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (CNF) arrested 45 drug smugglers during 40 successful operations across the province in the past week and recovered 151 kilograms of narcotics worth an estimated Rs.45 million.

LAHORE, Aug 10 (APP):Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (CNF) arrested 45 drug smugglers during 40 successful operations across the province in the past week and recovered 151 kilograms of narcotics worth an estimated Rs.45 million.
According to a spokesman on Monday,the recovered narcotics included hashish,opium,heroin and ice (crystal methamphetamine).
During the operations,the CNF also recovered six pistols,one SMG,two rifles and a drone from the arrested suspects.Besides,1,175 ecstasy tablets and 333 litres of liquor were also seized.
Punjab CNF Director General(DG) Brigadier,Mazhar Iqbal said the crackdown against drug trafficking would continue across the province.
He said since August 2025,the force had foiled attempts to transport 24.8 tonnes of narcotics worth an estimated Rs.2.26 billion.
