LAHORE, Mar 14 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has congratulated Haram Rehan, a young athlete from Gujranwala, for breaking a six-year-old Indian record and entering the Guinness World Records.
Haram Rehan, a student of Government College for Women, Satellite Town Gujranwala, set a new world record by performing 143 knee strikes in one minute, surpassing the previous record held by an Indian male athlete for six years.
The chief minister extended heartfelt congratulations to Haram Rehan on her remarkable achievement and also acknowledged the dedication and efforts of her coaching staff.
The CM said Haram Rehan had raised the Pakistani flag high and became a source of inspiration for girls, proving that daughters of Punjab can achieve global recognition through determination and hard work. She emphasized that the Punjab government is committed to supporting youth and providing every facility for them to represent Pakistan proudly on the international stage. She added that daughters of Punjab are not alone, and the government stands with every young girl in pursuit of excellence.
