LAHORE, Aug 08 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has paid glowing tribute to Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, on his 68th martyrdom anniversary, honoring his matchless bravery and supreme sacrifice for the defense of the homeland.
In her message on Saturday, the CM said Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed displayed extraordinary courage and wrote an unforgettable chapter of bravery through his heroic conduct. She said his unwavering resolve, gallantry and devotion to duty remain a source of pride for the entire nation, adding his supreme sacrifice in the defence of the motherland would never be forgotten.
CM Maryam Nawaz said that the sacrifices of the country’s great martyrs are the guarantee of Pakistan’s freedom, sovereignty and national security. She said the courage and valour demonstrated by Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed continue to serve as a shining example for the officers and soldiers of the armed forces.
The CM said that the nation would always remember and honour the unmatched sacrifices rendered by its martyrs for the defence and security of Pakistan.
