CM orders comprehensive security for Youm-e-Ali (RA)

LAHORE, Mar 11 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday issued directives for comprehensive security arrangements across the province on the occasion of Youm-e-Shahadat-e-Ali (RA).

The CM instructed authorities to ensure strict monitoring of all processions and religious gatherings, directing police officers to maintain continuous vigilance until the conclusion of the events. He also issued special instructions to ensure safety and protection of the faithful observing Aitekaf in mosques during the last 10 days of Ramazan. Maryam said full security coverage and continuous oversight were crucial to ensuring the peaceful conduct of all religious ceremonies and to safeguard participants from any untoward incidents.

She said the Punjab government was committed to providing foolproof arrangements and maintaining law and order during the observance of this significant religious occasion.
