CM grieves over death of three children in Kasur

LAHORE, Apr 01 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister(CM), Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the death of three children in a wall collapse incident triggered by rain in Kasur.
In a statement, CM extended her condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in similar rain related incidents across Punjab.
She directed the district administration to carry out an immediate survey of dilapidated and unsafe buildings,stressing the need for timely preventive measures to avert further loss of life during adverse weather conditions.
CM Maryam Nawaz warned that negligence in identifying hazardous structures would not be tolerated and instructed the authorities concerned to prioritize public safety through effective monitoring and preparedness.
She further ordered all relevant departments to remain on high alert amid the ongoing spell of rain and ensure a prompt response to any untoward incident.
