CHINIOT, Oct 9 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan on Friday inspected sanitation arrangements in Dilkhushab neighbourhood, along railway lines and other parts of the city, directing officials to intensify cleanliness efforts and ensure proper waste disposal.
Accompanied by Suthra Punjab Manager Muhammad Salman Gul and Municipal Committee Chief Officer Muhammad Arif, the deputy commissioner reviewed the cleanliness situation and instructed the concerned officials to launch a special clean-up drive along railway tracks to ensure the complete removal of accumulated garbage.
She directed sanitation staff to ensure daily waste collection from all localities and its proper disposal to provide citizens with a clean and healthy environment. She stressed that effective sanitation arrangements were essential and that all areas must be covered regularly.
Ayesha Rizwan also warned that negligence in cleanliness operations would not be tolerated and directed officials to ensure continuous monitoring of sanitation activities. She also instructed the relevant departments to utilise all available resources to maintain cleanliness across the city.
