GUJRAT, Jun 30 (APP): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Health Authority Gujrat, Dr. Syed Ata-ul-Munim on Tuesday paid a surprise visit to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Kharian to review healthcare services and monitor the ongoing routine immunization campaign.
According to official sources, Medical Superintendent Dr. Zafar Mehdi briefed the CEO on the performance of various hospital departments and the healthcare services being provided to patients.
The CEO also reviewed the door-to-door household registration campaign conducted by Community Health Inspectors.
He visited the field to monitor routine vaccination activities, obtained feedback from parents and verified children’s immunization status through vaccination cards.
He emphasized the need for accurate household registration, improved routine immunization coverage and quality healthcare services.
Tehsil Focal Person for Community Health Inspectors (SH&NS) Sheikh Mohsin Iftikhar and Tehsil Superintendent Vaccination Mazhar Hussain were also present during the visit.
