FAISALABAD, Jul 25 (APP): Sargodha Road police traced a blind murder in a month and arrested two friends of the slain on murder charges.
A police spokesman said on Saturday that an unknown body of 36-year-old man was found in Quba Park Gulistan Colony June 21, 2026 and he was killed under mysterious circumstances.
Later, the ill-fated man was identified as Ali Raza and Sargodha Road police started investigation.
Receiving information, City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain ordered to form a competent investigation team for solving blind murder.
This team led by SHO Sargodha Road police station Inspector Rizwan Javed utilized technical resources and took two friends of the slain, Shahid and Zeeshan, into custody for investigation.
During initial interrogation, the accused confessed the offence and told the police that they had killed Ali Raza with a sharp-edged blade after an altercation occurred between them over the division of money looted during a heist.
The police locked the accused behind bars while further investigation was under progress, the spokesman added.
