Blind murder solved, two arrested

FAISALABAD, Jul 29 (APP): The police on Wednesday claimed to have solved a blind murder case and arrested two accused with the help of CCTV footage.
According to a police spokesperson, SHO Madina Town police station Adeel Akram arrested the accused identified as Roheel and Azeem with the help of CCTV footage after a swift investigation into the murder of a citizen, Khalid, whose body was recovered from behind a marble factory.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the accused who were allegedly drug addicts had an exchange of hot words with Khalid while he was passing through the area. The argument reportedly turned violent during which the accused assaulted the victim before allegedly shooting him dead.
The accused later shifted the body and dumped it behind a nearby marble factory in an attempt to conceal evidence and mislead investigators.
