The beautification and improvement work at Anjum Iqbal Mughal Park in Khayaban-e-Sir Syed has been completed as part of the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi’s ongoing efforts to improve parks and green spaces across the city.

RAWALPINDI, Sep 14 (APP):The beautification and improvement work at Anjum Iqbal Mughal Park in Khayaban-e-Sir Syed has been completed as part of the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi’s ongoing efforts to improve parks and green spaces across the city.
According to Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi officials here on Monday, the improvement work included cleanliness and sanitation, grass cutting, pruning of plants and shrubs, plantation and enhancement of green areas.
The officials said the park had been given a more attractive and pleasant look following completion of the beautification activities, providing citizens with a cleaner and greener recreational space.
They said special attention was being paid to the maintenance of greenery, plants and flowers, besides improving walking tracks and other public facilities in the parks.
The beautification and rehabilitation of other parks and green belts across the city would also continue in phases, the officials added.
The initiative was being implemented under the directions of Managing Director Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, with the objective of improving public recreational spaces and promoting a greener and more environmentally friendly Rawalpindi.
