ATC extends interim bail of Musarrat, Jamshed Cheema in eight May 9 cases

LAHORE, Apr 03 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday extended the interim bail of Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and her husband Jamshed Iqbal Cheema until May 7 in multiple cases linked to the May 9 riots, including attacks on Jinnah House and Askari Tower, as well as other incidents of arson and vandalism.

The hearing was conducted by ATC duty Judge Manzer Ali Gill. Both PTI leaders appeared before the court and marked their attendance, after which the court extended their interim bail.

The court also directed the investigating authorities for completing the investigation to the extent of Musarrat Jamshed Cheema.

Musarrat Cheema has obtained interim bail in eight cases, while Jamshed Iqbal Cheema has secured interim bail in four cases.
