An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday extended the interim pre-arrest bail of Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and her husband Jamshed Iqbal Cheema until April 3 in multiple May 9 riot cases, including those related to attacks on Jinnah House and Askari Tower.

LAHORE, Mar 13 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday extended the interim pre-arrest bail of Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and her husband Jamshed Iqbal Cheema until April 3 in multiple May 9 riot cases, including those related to attacks on Jinnah House and Askari Tower.
The duty judge of the anti-terrorism court heard the bail petitions, during which both PTI leaders appeared before the court after the expiry of their previous interim bail period and marked their attendance.
The court subsequently extended their interim relief till April 3 and directed their counsel to complete arguments on the bail applications at the next hearing.
Musarrat Jamshed Cheema has filed interim bail petitions in eight cases, including the Jinnah House and Askari Tower attack cases, while Jamshed Iqbal Cheema has sought pre-arrest bail in four separate cases linked to the May 9 violence.
