The Special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi adjourned the hearing of the General Headquarters (GHQ) attack case involving over 120 accused persons, including former PTI founder, former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and others until October 22 without substantive proceedings.

RAWALPINDI, Oct 08 (APP):The Special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi adjourned the hearing of the General Headquarters (GHQ) attack case involving over 120 accused persons, including former PTI founder, former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and others until October 22 without substantive proceedings.
Attendance was marked for the accused present including former Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed before they were allowed to leave, while defence counsel Muhammad Faisal Malik and the prosecution team represented their respective sides.
Registered at RA Bazar Police Station, the case names key political figures including Ali Amin Gandapur, Shibli Faraz, Omar Ayub and Raja Basharat.
Following the formal framing of charges, cross-examination has been completed for over 45 prosecution witnesses, while the court’s order to produce the principal accused via video link remains in effect.
