Arid University conducts first undergraduate entry test for Fall 2026

Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) on Sunday conducted its first entry test for undergraduate admissions Fall 2026, with thousands of candidates appearing from across the country.

RAWALPINDI, Jun 14 (APP): Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) on Sunday conducted its first entry test for undergraduate admissions Fall 2026, with thousands of candidates appearing from across the country.
The test was held at the university’s main campus, and simultaneously in 14 cities, including Attock, Khushab, Chakwal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Burewala, Multan, Rajanpur, Bhalwal, Skardu and Gilgit, to facilitate applicants from different regions, said a press release issued here today.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qamar-uz-Zaman said that the university remained committed to providing quality education through qualified faculty, modern academic facilities and an inclusive admissions process. He said efforts were being made to make admission procedures more accessible for students nationwide.
The vice chancellor, along with the senior officials, visited examination halls to review arrangements and monitor the conduct of the test. He expressed satisfaction over the transparent and organised process while interacting with candidates.
The first entry test was held following the registration deadline of June 12. The university also allowed on-the-spot registration for candidates who could not complete the online process.
Meanwhile, the second undergraduate entry test for Fall 2026 admissions will be held on July 12, with the registration deadline set for July 10.
A university spokesman said that candidates who registered for the first test but could not appear would be eligible to sit the second test without re-registration.
