The Lahore Ring Road Authority (LRRA)has decided to establish service areas at various locations on the Ring Road to provide modern facilities to citizens and passengers and has invited applications from experienced firms and companies.

LAHORE, Jun 12 (APP): The Lahore Ring Road Authority (LRRA)has decided to establish service areas at various locations on the Ring Road to provide modern facilities to citizens and passengers and has invited applications from experienced firms and companies.
According to the authorities, the service areas will be leased for 20 years, while the successful operator will also be provided with the option of an extension of another 25 years. The last date for submitting applications has been set for June 25, 2026.
According to the Ring Road Authorities, land consisting of about 10, 10 kanals has been allocated for service areas at 6 different locations including Bahria Town, DHA, Haluki and Shafiq Pura.
Officials say that this project will not only provide better facilities to the passengers but will also increase the revenue of the Lahore Ring Road.
Food courts, fuel stations, parking, rest areas and other facilities are expected to be set up in the service areas.
According to the authorities, only experienced operators, firms and companies will be able to submit applications, while successful bidders will be selected through a transparent and competitive process.
