The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Friday arrested six suspects and seized 91.24 kg of narcotics worth more than Rs 10 million in eight operations conducted across the country.

RAWALPINDI, Oct 09 (APP): The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Friday arrested six suspects and seized 91.24 kg of narcotics worth more than Rs 10 million in eight operations conducted across the country.
In educational drug interdiction operations, 1.2 kg of hashish was recovered from a suspect near a university in Karachi, while another suspect was arrested with 750 grams of hashish near DHA Karachi. According to the ANF spokesperson, both suspects confessed to selling drugs to students of educational institutions.
In other operations, 66 kg of hashish was seized from a vehicle near the Motorway Toll Plaza in Rawalpindi, leading to the arrest of a suspect. Another 12 kg of hashish was recovered from a vehicle near Hyderabad Toll Plaza.
Near Sialkot, ANF officials recovered 6.75 kg of ice (methamphetamine), 2.4 kg of hashish and 190 grams of heroin from a motorcyclist.
In a separate operation near Sargodha Bus Terminal, 1.5 kg of hashish and 1 kg of ice were seized from a suspect, while 450 grams of weed was recovered from another suspect near GT Road, Rawalpindi.
At a courier office on Ring Road, Peshawar, 317 ecstasy tablets weighing 200 grams were recovered from a submersible pump.
Cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), 1997, and further investigation is underway.
