The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Tuesday arrested four suspects and seized 167.1 kg of narcotics worth over Rs 18 million during six operations conducted around educational institutions and in different parts of the country.

RAWALPINDI, Sep 29 (APP): The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Tuesday arrested four suspects and seized 167.1 kg of narcotics worth over Rs 18 million during six operations conducted around educational institutions and in different parts of the country.
During an operation near a university in Tando Jam, Hyderabad district, the ANF recovered one kg of ice from a motorcycle-riding suspect. The arrested suspect allegedly confessed to selling drugs to students of educational institutions.
In an international drug interdiction operation at a courier office in Rawalpindi, 1.9 kg of ice was recovered from a waistcoat concealed in a parcel destined for New Zealand.
In another operation at a courier office on Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi, 4.2 kg of ice was recovered from shoes concealed inside a parcel bound for the UK.
During domestic interdiction operations, the ANF recovered 60 kg of hashish and 12 kg of ice concealed in apple crates inside a truck near Sarnan, Pishin district, and arrested a suspect.
Near Gramakan Road, Panjgur district, 48 kg of hashish was seized from a vehicle, and two suspects were apprehended.
In another operation near Dalbandin, Chagai district, 40 kg of opium was recovered from bushes.
Cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), 1997, and further investigation is underway.
