AJK PM lauds Punjab CM for launching landmark projects

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Monday met newly elected Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Iftikhar Gilani and congratulated him on his election as the AJK premier.

LAHORE, Aug 31 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Monday met newly elected Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Iftikhar Gilani and congratulated him on his election as the AJK premier.
Barrister Iftikhar Gilani thanked Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for their support and reaffirmed his resolve to implement the 100-day reform agenda aimed at accelerating development in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The AJK prime minister also lauded Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for launching landmark development projects in Punjab, describing the province’s initiatives as a source of guidance for AJK’s development.
He said Azad Jammu and Kashmir could benefit from Punjab’s development experience and expressed his determination to transform the region into a model of development under the guidance of PML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif extended her best wishes to the AJK prime minister and expressed hope that the new AJK government would take effective measures for the welfare and prosperity of its people.
