LAHORE, Apr 06 (APP): Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazeer has said that a healthy life can be attained by following the teachings of Almighty Allah, the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), and the Holy Quran, which offer guidance for building a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
In his message issued in connection with World Health Day on Monday, he termed a healthy society as the foundation of sustainable development. He said, “We must promote decisions based on science and research.”
The minister added, “The Holy Quran is a complete code of life, and by adopting its golden principles, a healthy society can be formed.”
Imran Nazeer said that Punjab’s health system is providing medical treatment facilities to patients from all over Pakistan. Providing quality and timely healthcare facilities to the public is the government’s top priority.
He said, “World Health Day reminds us of the importance of joint efforts in improving healthcare,” adding that adopting modern scientific methods is essential to strengthening the health system.
The Punjab government is committed to improving the health sector, as prevention, awareness, and timely treatment are the guarantees of a healthy life, he added.
The minister further said that promoting scientific research is necessary to protect public health. He said, “Doctors, nurses, and health workers are our pride. Only by standing with science, we can build a safe and healthy future.”
