ADC Rawalpindi reviews cleanliness, patient care at HFH

RAWALPINDI, Aug 08 (APP): Additional Deputy Commissioner (Enforcement), Rawalpindi Abdul Rehman Khan on Saturday conducted a visit to Holy Family Hospital (HFH) to review cleanliness standards, patient care services and overall preparedness for medical emergencies.

During the visit, the Additional Deputy Commissioner inspected various hospital wards, including the Pediatric Ward, and reviewed the overall service delivery arrangements and operational readiness. He also visited the Emergency Department to assess the availability of essential facilities and emergency response arrangements.

During his visit, he personally interacted with patients across different wards and obtained direct feedback regarding the quality of healthcare services being provided.

He specifically inquired whether patients were receiving the required medical facilities and prescribed medicines in a timely manner, and whether they were facing any difficulties in accessing essential services. The direct interaction was aimed at obtaining first-hand feedback from patients and assessing the effectiveness of service delivery at the hospital.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner also conducted a detailed inspection of the hospital pharmacy, with particular focus on the availability and stock position of essential medicines. The hospital administration was directed to ensure adequate and uninterrupted availability of essential medicines, effective inventory management, and timely provision of medicines to patients.

The hospital administration was further directed to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, patient care, and operational preparedness, ensuring that all essential medical and emergency services remain fully functional and readily accessible to patients.
