SIALKOT, Sep 07 (APP):A delegation of educationists and academicians on Monday visited the Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal Center of Excellence at Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS.
The visiting delegation comprised National Distinguished Professor at the Centre of Excellence in Solid State Physics Prof. Dr. Shehzad Naseem, Department of Physics Chairperson at LCWU Prof. Dr. Safia Anjum, Dean of Natural Sciences at UET Lahore Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahid Rafiq, and Lok Virsa Executive Director Dr. Waqas Saleem.
The distinguished scholars were present at GCWUS as external examiners and supervisor for the PhD Viva Voce of Ms. Nafisa Tabassum, a scholar in the Department of Physics.
During their tour of the Centre, the delegation commended the facility’s efforts to promote the intellectual, literary, and philosophical legacy of the national poet among the student body.
On the occasion, a student recited verses from Allama Iqbal’s poetry, highlighting the university’s vibrant cultural and literary atmosphere.
The university administration stated that the visit underscores GCWUS’s dedication to academic rigor, quality research, and the preservation of Pakistan’s intellectual heritage.
