Police have arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the theft of mobile phones from a mobile shop in Hassan Abdal, recovering 44 stolen handsets worth millions of rupees.

RAWALPINDI, Aug 07 (APP): Police have arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the theft of mobile phones from a mobile shop in Hassan Abdal, recovering 44 stolen handsets worth millions of rupees.
According to police spokesperson, the suspect had allegedly stolen the mobile phones from a shop in Hassan Abdal, Attock, shortly before being intercepted by Wah Saddar Police during snap checking.
Police stopped a suspicious motorcyclist during the checking operation.
Upon investigation, the recovered mobile phones were confirmed to be the same devices reported stolen from the Hassan Abdal mobile shop. A case has been registered against the suspect, who has been taken into custody.
SP Potohar Chaudhry Asar Ali said the accused will be presented before the court with substantial evidence for prosecution.
