SIALKOT, Jul 13 (APP): The district administration dismantled more than 300 confiscated illegal mini fuel dispensers during the ongoing crackdown on unregulated petrol sales.
According to the spokesperson here on Monday, the seized dispensers were being destroyed at the District Civil Defence Office under the supervision of Municipal Corporation and Civil Defence officials.
He said the dismantling process would be completed within 48 hours, while the scrap would be auctioned and the proceeds deposited into the national exchequer.
The district administration warned that illegal fuel sellers would face strict legal action, including registration of cases, fines, arrests and confiscation of equipment, and urged the public to purchase fuel only from licensed petrol stations.
