3 drug suppliers arrested, 9kg drugs seized in Rawalpindi crackdown
RAWALPINDI, Sep 05 (APP):Police have intensified their crackdown against drug trafficking following arrest of three drug suppliers and recovered 9 kilograms of drugs from their possession.
According to police spokesperson, Taxila Police held a drug supplier and recovered 5.2kg of drugs from his possession.
In a separate operation, police apprehended another supplier and seized 2.4kg of hashish.
Meanwhile, Race Course Police arrested another alleged drug supplier and recovered 1.3kg of hashish from his possession.
Separate cases have been registered against all three suspects, and they have been taken into custody for further legal proceedings.
Police official said all possible measures were being taken to curb the menace of drugs and prevent the supply of narcotics in the district. The crackdown against drug suppliers and traffickers would continue without any discrimination, spokesperson added.
