Police arrested 26 suspects, including nine proclaimed offenders (PO’s), during a crackdown across the district, officials said on Sunday.

SARGODHA, Jul 19 (APP): Police arrested 26 suspects, including nine proclaimed offenders (PO’s), during a crackdown across the district, officials said on Sunday.
According to police, teams from various police stations conducted raids at different locations over the past 24 hours and apprehended the accused involved in various criminal cases.
The arrested suspects were identified as Aslam, Nouman, Sultan, Shamus, Shamsahir, Saqib, Hassan, Mehmood, Tipu, Taimoor, Majeed, Sarwar, Saqlain, Sibtain Khan and Anjum among others.
Police said the suspects were wanted in connection with serious offenses, including murder, attempted murder, robbery, dacoity, cattle theft and motorcycle theft cases.
A police spokesperson said stolen motorcycles, cattle, narcotics including heroin, opium, hashish and ice, as well as illegal weapons were recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects.
Cases have been registered against the accused while further investigations was underway.
