25 passengers injured as coaster overturns

MULTAN, Sep 27 (APP): A passenger coaster overturned on Kot Rab Nawaz-Vehari Road on Sunday while swerving to avoid a speeding car, injuring 25 people, Rescue 1122 said.
The vehicle was travelling from Multan to Mailsi after passengers attended a wedding ceremony in the city.
Rescue 1122 dispatched seven vehicles , four ambulances, two motorbike ambulances and one fire tender , to the site, where teams administered first aid to the injured.
Four people were shifted to Nishtar Hospital, while 21 with minor injuries were treated on the spot. Local police reached the scene alongside rescue teams after being informed of the accident.
