Police claimed on Tuesday to have arrested 24 proclaimed offenders wanted in various cases of robbery, theft and bogus cheques during a vigorous crackdown across the city.

SARGODHA, Jun 30 (APP): Police claimed on Tuesday to have arrested 24 proclaimed offenders wanted in various cases of robbery, theft and bogus cheques during a vigorous crackdown across the city.

On the direction of District Police Officer Muhammad Suhaib Ashraf, the police launched a crackdown against the most wanted criminals and arrested 24 proclaimed offenders, some of them were identified as Arjan Masih, Zahid, Tajammal, Waheed, Tariq, Sajid, Arshad, Anas, Akmal, Tausif and others.

Further investigation was underway.
