RAWALPINDI, Jun 10 (APP):Police have arrested an alleged liquor supplier and recovered 200 bottles of liquor during a crackdown here on Wednesday.
According to police spokesperson, officers intercepted and searched a suspicious vehicle during routine checking.
The search led to the recovery of 200 bottles of liquor from the possession of the suspect.
The accused was taken into custody, and a case has been registered against him.
Police also impounded the vehicle used in the alleged transportation of the contraband.
SP Saddar Anum Sher said that all possible measures are being taken to eradicate the menace of drugs and other illicit substances from society.
She reiterated the police department’s commitment to continue operations against those involved in the illegal trade of narcotics and liquor.
