Police on Monday launched a massive crackdown against criminals across the district and arrested 36 suspects, including 17 proclaimed offenders(PO’s).

SARGODHA, Aug 24 (APP):Police on Monday launched a massive crackdown against criminals across the district and arrested 36 suspects, including 17 proclaimed offenders(PO’s).

He said police raiding teams conducted raids at different localities and apprehended the wanted criminals.

The police also recovered one kilogram of hashish,a quantity of ice (crystal methamphetamine),100 litres of liquor, Kalashnikovs,pistols and other weapons from the possession of the arrested suspects.

The arrested criminals,including proclaimed offenders were identified as Husnain,Sibtain,Khaleel,Rasheed, Rehman,Umar,Shafique,Siddique,Anwer,Kamran,Waleed and others.

The spokesman said the crackdown would continue across the district to curb criminal activities and ensure the safety and security of citizens.
