MUZAFFARGARH, Aug 24 (APP):A 15-Foot Breach in Protective Embankment Floods Settlements, Crops in Muzaffargarh A 15-foot-wide breach in a protective embankment near the Indus River has caused floodwater to enter nearby residential areas and agricultural fields in Jatoi tehsil, Rescue sources said on Monday.
The breach occurred in the Zamindara Bund near Rampur Som, Lundi Patafi, allowing river water to inundate nearby settlements and crops.
Rescue teams, police and local residents have launched precautionary measures at the site. Relevant departments are also actively engaged in relief and response operations to contain the situation.
