Around 120,000 women in district have received payments under the latest June-July 2026 tranche of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP),officials said on Sunday.

SARGODHA, Jul 19 (APP): Around 120,000 women in district have received payments under the latest June-July 2026 tranche of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), officials said on Sunday.
BISP Deputy Director (DD), Malik Safdar Awan and Assistant Director Sumaira said each beneficiary had been paid Rs14,500 under the latest installment.
They said 60,000 women received payments in Sargodha city,15,000 in Bhalwal,10,000 each in Shahpur, Bhera and Sahiwal, and 15,000 in Sillanwali.
According to the officials, the district has 2,13,000 registered BISP beneficiaries, of whom 120,000 have so far received payments under the current tranche.
They said arrangements had been made to facilitate beneficiaries during the disbursement process.
Awan said the distribution of SIMs under BISP’s digital wallet system was also in progress, adding that around 96% of the exercise had been completed.
