FAISALABAD, Jul 29 (APP): The Livestock department and Punjab Food Authority, in a joint operation on Aminpur Road, seized about 100 kilograms of substandard buffalo meat from a loader rickshaw on Wednesday.
Veterinary Officer Dr. Humaira Bano along with the concerned staff inspected the meat and declared it harmful to human health, after that the meat was disposed of on the spot.
The accused Muhammad Irfan s/o Bakht Jamal, resident of village 184 Sialwala, District Chiniot, was arrested and handed over to Sandalbar police for registration of a case and further legal action.
