Secretary ECP expresses satisfaction over security arrangements

ISLAMABAD,Nov 30 (APP): Secretary Election Commission Babar Yaqoob Monday expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements during his visit to different polling stations in federal capital to monitor the election process.
The Secretary visited polling stations in G-6,G-7/1 sectors,Rawal town and tarlai and reviewed the election arrangement.”The ECP will provide every facility to voters for making this process a success,” he commented during the visit. “The ECP will ensure free, fair and transparent polling in the capital.”
When asked about the polling process, the Secretary said, the process has started smoothly and hoped, it would culminate peacefully.
Reply to a query about time of polling, the Secretary said, no political party had yet approached the ECP to extend the time of polling.
