THATTA, Nov 19 (APP): Polling for the second phase of local government elections started here Thursday at 7:30 am with low turn out in almost all polling stations.
According to the details, in Thatta district, 399,761 voters including 215,002 male and 184,759 female are registered. The balloting at 306 polling stations including 33 male and female and 240 combined polling stations will continue till 5:30 pm.
Heavy contingents of Police and Rangers have been deployed to ensure polling in a peaceful environment.
