Nisar asks LG representatives to help implement PML-N manifesto

ISLAMABAD, Dec 8 (APP): Minister for Interior Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday called upon the local government (LG) representatives to play their vital role in the implementation of  the PML-N manifesto and serve the masses to further strengthen the
party.
He was talking to newly-elected 39 chairmen of union councils (UCs) of NA 52 and 53, and 31 councillors of Texila and Kalar Saidan UCS, who called on him here at the Punjab House.

Chaudhary Nisar said the success of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidates in LG polls reflected the fatc that the people looked towards them for the resolution of their problems.

He expressed the hope that they would come up to the expectations of the people as well as their party leadership.They were representing the biggest political party and they
should feel proud of it, he added.

The people’s confidence in him demanded that being elected representatives they should actively work and serve their electorates with the spirit to provide them social and economic
justice which would further strengthen the party, he said.

The minister said the success of PML-N in NA-52 was a record where Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was able to secure only one seat.He asked them to get united setting aside petty differences after the completion of LG election process and take along every
one in the development process.

He also urged the elected representatives to keep close liaison with the local administration in their respective areas to resolve the people’s problems.He also urged them to identify the development projects  their respective areas for the welfare of the common people.
