ISLAMABAD, Jul 5 (APP):Pakistan National Council of Arts has arranged a lecture on National Tradition and Aesthetic Representation of Chinese Cinematography during on-going Chinese Film Festival.
Doctoral supervisor at Beijing Normal University, Professor Zhou Xing, delivered the lecture here in China Culture Center at PNCA on the evolution and progressive techniques that were being used by Chinese cinema industry over the years.
He informed the audiences about the different genres of Chinese film traditions such as comedy, martial arts film, musicals and drama.
Professor Xing started the lecture with his insight on the first golden age of Chinese film in 1930s-1940s. He explained that this period highlighted an important quality featuring an in-depth performance of the trials of people in reality.
