PM’s competent team to take country forward: Vawda

ISLAMABAD, Oct 16 (APP):Federal Minister for Water Resources, Faisal Vawda Tuesday said Prime Minister Imran Khan had a competent team to put the country on path of speedy development, and for this, concrete measures were being taken.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was committed to improve the system for making ‘a prosperous Pakistan’, he said talking to a private news channel.
He said all the ministers and members of National Assembly were working like servants of the nation and contributing their part in development of the country.
The minister said the PTI government was not enjoying one-third majority in the parliament despite that it was effectively performing for political and economical stability of the country.
Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had one third majority during their respective regimes but they did not deliver for the masses, he added.
To a query, Faisal Vawda said accountability should be done across the board against corrupt elements without discrimination.
Whenever PPP or PML-N leaders were apprehended by National Accountability Bureau (NAB), it was termed as the threat to democracy, he said.
