LAHORE, Oct 10 (APP):Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan has said that PML-N assembly
members are trying to hoodwink the media and people for hiding the corruption of their leader Shehbaz Sharif. Their protest was simply aimed to hide the corruption of their leaders, he added.
While talking to the media here Wednesday, he said that NAB was an autonomous body. The PML-N leaders would be released if they were not guilty in these cases, he added. He said that the whole nation knew that these people had embezzled billions and trillions of rupees, and now they were crying over an independent investigation.
He said that there was six to seven assembly members of the Pakistan Peoples Party in the Punjab Assembly who did not give any attention to the PML-N protest. He said that minds of agitators had been polluted by the Sharifs but the conscious people of Pakistan would not be entrapped by them.
He said that before the requisition of the Opposition, the government had already called a budget session of the Punjab Assembly on October 16 and according to the law second requisition could not be entertained after accepting the first one.
