MUZAFFARGARH: June 07 – Centuries old, Tahir Khan Nahar Tomb, which closely resembles Hazrat Shah Rukn-i-Alam Multani mausoleum, is depicting a picture of neglect as colours of its tiles are fading besides deterioration of exterior walls. Located in an ancient city of Seetpur near Alipur, Muzaffargarh, the tomb was built at the end of 15th century in life of Tahir Khan Nahar who was member of Mughal empire. It was constructed in raised octagonal platform with 45 feet height whereas its exterior is decorated with glazed titles in green, thick blue and white colour which are laid in geometrical and floral pattern. PESHAWAR: June 07 – The Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH), a leading public sector hospital in Peshawar, has been strengthened in terms of healthcare services, equipment, faculty and medicines to combat COVID-19. Located opposite to the University of Peshawar on the historic route leading up to Khyber Pass, the hospital has been playing a pivotal role since its inception to provide quality healthcare services to patients of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and even from Afghanistan. Dealing successfully with the emergencies of devastating earthquake of 2005 and 2010 floods, war against terrorism, dengue fever or the current coronavirus pandemic, the hospital has always rose to the occasion.
