Govt making all out efforts to boost literacy rate: BalighPESHAWAR, Mar 16 (APP): Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Engineer Baligh ur Rehman Wednesday said the government was making sustained efforts for further increasing literacy rate besides promoting quality education in the country. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of a two day provincial consultation conference on education, the minister said due to successful educational reforms and comprehensive strategies adopted by the government for promoting education literacy rate had been increased from 58 to 60 percent during last two years.
