Now the world economists are appreciating the economic

Dar assures Rs 100 mln help for renovating PSC
ISLAMABAD Apr 26 (APP): Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada on Tuesday requested the government to grant an amount of Rs 100 million for the renovation and up-gradation of the Pakistan Sports Complex (PSC).
Speaking at the concluding ceremony of the Quaid-i-Azam Inter Provincial Games here at the Pakistan Sports Complex, he requested the Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar who was the chief guest at the occasion to grant an amount of Rs 100 million for the renovation and up-gradation of the Pakistan Sports Complex.
He said it is an honour for him to host the Games as players, coaches, officials etc have been here participating in the Games from all over the country. “Our staff (IPC and PSB officials) didn’t even sleep to organize this event in a benefitting manner,” he said.
SMEs to be trained for boosting exports: Commerce Minister
ISLAMABAD, Apr 26 (APP): Minister for Commerce, Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan has said that the Ministry of Commerce was focusing to develop and train new exporters from Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) sector to boost Pakistan’s export in the coming years.
“There is a need of a hand-holding of the prospective SME
exporters and guide them to graduate to the next level”, the
Minister said while talking to a delegation of technical experts of Center for Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) based in The Hague, Netherlands.
CBI is working in Pakistan since 2008 and is in the process of
developing its new five-year plan for Pakistan, said a message received here on Tuesday. A team of technical experts from Netherlands is visiting Pakistan soon to seek ground-level information to provide input for the next plan.
US denies visa to Afghan Vice President Dostum
NEW YORK, April 26 (APP): Afghanistan’s vice president Abdul Rashid Dostum, who was once described by US State Department as “the quintessential warlord”, has been denied an American visa for his alleged war crimes, including the killing of hundreds of Taliban prisoners by his militia, The New York Times reported Tuesday.
Dostum, a leader from the ethnic Uzbek minority, was eager to visit Washington and discuss how best to overcome the Taliban, but US officials found themselves in the unusual position of threatening to deny him a visa this month, the newspaper said. The message was passed to the Afghan government days before Dostum was to leave for a trip to New York and Washington, the report quoted multiple Afghan and US officials as saying.
To avoid a “humiliating public spectacle”, the Afghan government quietly canceled Dostum’s visit, the report said.
SECP issues draft valuers registration, governance regulations, 2016
ISLAMABAD, Apr 26 (APP): The Securities and Exchange
Commission of Pakistan (SECP), has notified the draft Valuers Registration and Governance Regulations, 2016, and also placed it on its website to obtain public opinion within 30 days.
The draft gegulations are aimed at the regulation and
supervision of the work of professional valuers, a statement issued by the SECP here on Tuesday said.
The regulations provide for the registration mechanism of
professional valuers in the form of Company, on five specialized valuation panels, for which the prescribed eligibility and fit-and-proper criteria has been defined.
FFC posts net earnings of Rs 2.73 bn for first-quarter
ISLAMABAD, Apr 26 (APP): Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) has announced results for the first quarter amid highly challenging business environments.
In spite of adverse market conditions FFC recorded net
earnings of Rs 2.73 billion for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016.
According to a statement here on Tuesday, urea industry remained under severe stress during the period.

Production Rana Tanveer Hussain Tuesday said Imran Khan had lost charity money of Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital in offshore companies.
Talking to mediamen here he said father of Imran Khan, as a civil servant, bought land in his constituency and then got it transferred in his name after retirement.
He said Imran Khan should stop dreaming of becoming prime
minister as his turn would not come.
CPEC to change fate of country: Capt Safdar
