ISLAMABAD, July 15 (APP): The workers of different religious
parties congregated at various venues of the federal capital on Friday to register thier protest against killings by Indian forces in held Kashmir.

The protesters who were holding placards and chanting slogans against Indian brutalities in Kashmir also burnt Indian flags to express solidarity with Kashmiri people.

A religious party also announced to hold a big programme on
July 19, at Liaquat Bagh to condemn the Indian brutalities in
held Kashmir.

The killing of Kashmiri freedom fighter Burhan Wani on July 8,
invited the Kashmiri people on roads for demonstration. The
civilians faced a severe wave of violence by Indian forces that claimed about 40 innocent lives and left hundreds of injured.

The International Human Rights organization has also recently demanded Indian government to probe the incident of dozens of casualties of innocent civilian following the Indian forces violence in occupied Kashmir.

The brutal armed violence by Indian forces on Kashmiri people also made the protesters to come to roads to express solidarity with Kashmiri brethren.

The parties, whose workers and associates took to roads in
various sectors of the city included Ahle Sunnat Wal
Jamat and Jamaat-i-Islami.

Addressing the crowd, Qari Yaqoob demanded government to cut off trade ties with India, saying that Indian forces had
crossed all limits of atrocities, barbarism, inhuman violence and brutality against the Kashmiri people.

The United Nations (UN), European Union (EU), International
Human Rights Organizations, he said, were silent spectators on inhuman activities of India in occupied Kashmir.

The Kashmir issue should be addressed in accordance with
the UN resolutions, he said.
He said Pakistan would continue to support Kashmiri people
ethically and ideologically, saying the sacrifices of Kashmiri
people would not go wasted.

Naib Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami, Mian Aslam said the government should ask all its ambassadors abroad to brief their host countries about the Indian aggression in occupied Kashmir.

All out efforts should be made, he said, to raise the subject at all international forums.

President All Pakistan Traders Association Ajmal Baloch and
President Markazi Anjuman Tajran, Kashif Chaudhry also spoke on the occasion. Funeral prayer of martyred in recent violence in Kashmir was also afford in absentia.

Meanwhile, a protest rally also came out from Lal Masjid by
Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat that march to the Aabpara Market and later concluded peacefully.

The rally was attended by the leaders and activists of Jamiat
ul Islam-F, Insar ul Ummat, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (Nazriati), Muslim Students Organization, Sunni Talba Ithad, Sunni Ulema Council and others.

The protesters also demanded to convene OIC meeting on
terrorists attack in Saudi Arabia, besides call for attention of
international community on Kashmir issue.

Likewise, Jamaat e Islami Pakistan also held a demonstration
in front of National Press Club (NPC) Islamabad to express
solidarity with Kashmiri people.

LAHORE, July 15 (APP): Pakistan People’s Party staged a demonstration here on Friday to express solidarity with Kashmiris and protested against Indian atrocities in held Kashmir.

PPP leaders including Samina Ghurki, Umer Sharif, Amer Barrister, Muhammad Ayub and a large number of PPP workers participated in the protest, held outside the Lahore Press Club here.

The protestors were carrying banners and placards inscribed with different slogans against atrocities of Indian forces on Kashmiris in held Kashmir. They also raised slogans against the Modi government.

Addressing on the occasion, speakers said that they would continue supporting the struggle of Kashmiris till their freedom from India. They said the PPP leadership had always highlighted the Kashmir issue at the international fora.

Meanwhile, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) also staged a protest demonstration to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and against brutalities of the Indian occupational forces in the the held valley.

Speaking on the occasion, the party leaders, Maulana Muhammad Amjad Khan, Maulana Saifuddin Saif and others, said that Kashmiris were fighting for their self-determination for the last many decades and they had rendered sacrifices for their cause.

They urged the international community to take notice of the Indian atrocities and resolve the Kashmir issue in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council.

FAISALABAD, July 15 (APP): Federal Ombudsman M Salman
Faruqui on Friday inaugurated the One Window Facilitation Desk at the Faisalabad International Airport for providing relief to overseas Pakistanis by resolving their issues at
the airport.

Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis &
Registrar/Advisor Law Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat Hafiz Ahsan Ahmad Khokhar, Airport Manager Anwar Jamal and officers of concerned agencies were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, the federal ombudsman said the
one window facilitation desks would help millions of overseas
Pakistanis to get their problems resolved here as well as in
their respective countries.

Earlier in a short briefing, Hafiz Ahsan Ahmed Khokhar
said the Federal Ombudsman had taken special initiatives for
overseas Pakistanis and established the Grievance Commissioner Cell for them.

He said several ministries had been taken on board for
resolving problems faced by overseas Pakistanis. He said
facilitation desks had already become functional at seven
international airports, including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi,
Peshawar, Quetta, Multan and Sialkot, where problems of
overseas Pakistanis were being resolved on the spot.

MIRPUR (AJK), Jul 15 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League (N) AJK
President, Raja Farooq Haider Khan condemned the recent mass killing of innocent Kashmiris during the fresh reign of state terrorism by the Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.

He called upon the international community especially the
United Nations and global human rights organizations to take
immediately intervene to get the Indian brutalities stopped in the bleeding valley of Kashmir.

Talking to media in his electoral constituency of Chakar in
Muzaffarabad on Friday, he said that India has broken all records of state violence and terrorism by targeting the freedom loving people of occupied Jammu & Kashmir.

New Delhi, he underlined has unleashed the reign of terror and violence to suppress the voice of the innocent Kashmiris who have launched their peaceful struggle for liberation of the motherland from Indian yoke.

He said that India lives in the paradise of fools if she consider that Kashmiris voice for freedom could be suppressed at
her military might. He said that Kashmiris struggle for freedom of the motherland from Indian subjugation would continue until a single Kashmiri was alive.

Meanwhile, addressing a rally at B/3 after Jumma prayer, PML (N) AJK leader and the party’s candidate from Mirpur city constituency Muhammad Saeed condemned the recent hike in the incidents of state violence by the Indian occupation forces in the troubled held valley.

He called for immediate intervention of the United Nations and global human rights organizations to get stopped the increased human rights violations by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.

He urged UNO to perform its due role for ensuring early
implementation of the resolutions for the settlement of Kashmir issue in line with the wishes of the people of the state.

Saeed paid rich tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs including the
young 22-year-old commander Burhan Wani for laying down their precious lives for the cause of freedom of the motherland from Indian subjugation.

ISLAMABAD, July 15 (APP): The Legal Education Committee of the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) in its meeting held here on Friday strongly condemned terrorists attack in Madina Munawarah the holiest and sacred place of Muslims.

The Legal Education Committee of the PBC met under the Chairmanship of Muhammad Shoaib Shaheen and termed the Madina Munawrah attack against Muslim Ummah as a whole and called for the Unity of Muslim Ummah against nefarious designs of international forces against Islam and Muslims for which the OIC is called upon to play its active role.

All the Muslim countries are urged upon to initiate campaign against ulterior motives and biased approach of all such forces against Muslims.

The Legal Education Committee also strongly condemned the new wave of atrocities being committed by Indian law enforcement agencies against Muslims of Indian Occupied Kashmir who are struggling for the right of their self determination and calls upon the United Nations and Members states of its Security Council to ensure implementation of United Nation Resolutions which ensured right of self determination to the Muslims of Indian Occupied Kashmir.

The Committee also urged upon the Indian Government to forthwith stop committing genocide of Muslims of Indian Occupied Kashmir and instead take steps for giving them their legitimate right of self determination.

The Legal Education Committee has expressed its concern over the growing uncertain Political situation in the Country and the impression being built as to any extra Constitutional action in the wake of prevailing uncertain Political and grave law and order situation in the Country.

The Committee while urging upon the Federal and Provincial Governments to improve the good governance and to improve law and order situation in the Country by taking concrete immediate steps also made it clear that the Lawyers fraternity will not tolerate any extra constitutional step and action aiming it to derail the democratic and Constitutional setup and in such an eventuality the Lawyers will not hesitate to launch a Countrywide movement to resist any un-Constitutional action.

The Legal Education Committee while reiterating earlier stand of the Pakistan Bar Council called upon the Chief Justice of Pakistan for activation of the Supreme Judicial Council ensuring hearing of all pending References against Judges of Superior Judiciary at the earliest possible as the delay in hearing/disposal of such References, which are pending since long, will shake confidence of the people on Judiciary.

It is, therefore, imperative that all the References pending before the Supreme Judicial Council are taken up and decided without further delay in the interest of justice as well as the prestige of the Institution of Judiciary.

The Legal Education Committee has expressed its deepest sense of sorrow and grief on the sad demise of Abdul Sattar Edhi the greatest humanitarian of Pakistan who has set an un-precedented example of serving the humanity irrespective of cast, creed and religion.

The Committee prayed Almighty Allah for resting the departed soul in eternal peace and grant fortitude to members of the bereaved family and the nation to bear the irreparable loss caused by his passing away.

ISLAMABAD, Jul 15 (APP): Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf Friday supported the demand of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) for issuance of one-year multiple visit visa to businessmen for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

According to FPCCI statement, the minister while talking to the delegation of the federation said fixing Hajj quota for the business community would be seriously considered.

He said that arrangements for Hajj have been improved, however said that the opinion of stakeholders was very important for further improvement.

The delegation was led by President FPCCI Abdul Rauf Alam while the other members included Vice Presidents of FPCCI Zafar Bakhtwari and Sajida Zulfiquar, group leader and former president ICCI Khalid Jaweed, Karim Aziz Malik, Malik Sohail.

Sardar Yousuf said that the ministry was trying to increase Hajj quota so that maximum number of people can avail the facility while twenty-five nominees of the Apex chamber would be sent to Hajj on the last flight, the statement added.

Earlier, President FPCCI Abdul Rauf Alam multiple visa for at least 400 traders will reduce cost of doing business and increase bilateral trade between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

He said that Hajj arrangements have been improved significantly which indicates positive efforts by the concerned minister. He also demanded special Hajj quota for the business community.

LAHORE, July 15 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League-N Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Global Alliance for Kashmir staged a demonstration at the Lahore Press Club here on Friday to express solidarity with Kashmiris and condemn Indian brutalities in held Kashmir.

The protesters carrying banners and placards chanted slogans against New Delhi, calling for immediate halt to high-handedness against innocent Kashmiris.

Addressing the participants, PML-N AJK Women Wing General Secretary Dr Farzana Nazir, MPA, Vice-President Ms Parveen, Ghulam Abbas Mir, PML-N candidate for LA-37 Valley-II Lahore seat, Dr Rauf, said that a ‘Condemnation Day’ was being observed across Pakistan against Indian atrocities in occupied territory and to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people struggling for their right to self-determination.

They said innocent Kashmiris were being subjected to the worst brutalities by the Indian occupational forces. They said the PML-N government was highlighting the Kashmir issue at all international fora. They said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, during his recent address to the United Nations Security Council, openly opposed the
Indian forces brutalities in held Valley and presented bold stand of Pakistan on Kashmir.

The speakers urged the international community to take stock of the situation, arising out of the killing of key Kashmiri leaders and innocent citizens at the hands of the Indian armed forces.

They also called for resolving the lingering issue of Kashmir in
accordance with the resolutions of UN Security Council, saying the credibility of the global organisation would be at stake if it failed to implement its own resolutions.

RAWALPINDI,July 15(APP) Ghabina Namaz e Janaza of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani was offered under the banner of Jamat u Dawa here Friday.

The Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani was killed by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir last Friday.

The participants on the occasion condemned the killing of Burhan Wani and other civilians at the hands of Indian forces in occupied Kashmir and demanded resolving of Kashmir issue according to the UN security council resolutions.

The Namaz-i-Janaza was led by Maulana Abdul Rehman and was attended by a large number of people.
