68 villages of South Waziristan provided electricity under USAID rehabilitation programme
ISLAMABAD, Feb 14 (APP): United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has provided electricity to 68 villages of South Waziristan Agency besides construction of roads and bridges under FATA Infrastructure Project 2010 2018. Mission Director of USAID to Pakistan Jhon Groarke said this while talking to APP about developmental projects in various agencies of FATA. Responding to a question, the Mission Director said that USAID was working on FATA Infrastructure Project (2010 2018) with the FATA Secretariat to build, rehabilitate, and reconstruct roads that connect remote communities to markets.

Chairing a meeting of senior officials of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the minister underscored the need for improved governance structure for PSX. The minister was given an overview of the performance of the PSX post integration and the status of divestment of shares of PSX. The minister noticed the post integration improvement in performance and emphasized upon early completion of the divestment process of the shares besides improved governance structure for the new stock exchange.
