LAHORE, Feb 8 (APP): Ambassador of Norway Tore Nedrebo said on Monday that a number of Norwegian companies were planning to invest in Pakistan especially in power sector. He expressed these views in a meeting with LCCI Senior Vice President Almas Hyder here at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where the Chamber’s Executive Committee members Mian Zahid Javed and Shahzad Ahmed were also present. The Ambassador asked the LCCI to help identify areas of common interest, adding that Norway-based mobilephone company ‘Telenor’ was providing employment up to 5000 people in Pakistan.

CADD Minister’s approval for Dry Port Road repair hailed

ISLAMABAD, Feb 8 (APP): The business community and residents of the federal capital have hailed federal minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry’s approval for immediate repair of Islamabad Dry Port Road. A delegation headed by president Islamabad Industrial Area Association (IIAA) Faridoon Khattak along with office bearers in a meeting had requested for the repair of Dry Port Road which was approved by the minister, said a statement issued here.
