ISLAMABAD, Oct 26 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain Monday
expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives
and properties in wake of the earthquake.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 26 (APP): Member of National
Assembly and Patron-in-chief of Pakistan Hindu Council, Dr.
Ramesh Kumar Vankwani met with Election Commission of
Pakistan Justice (r) Sardar Muhammad Raza here Monday.
Talking to the media outside the Election Commission,
after meeting with CEC, he said, during the meeting, he shared
with the CEC, the concerns of the minority community living
in the district Tharparkar.
Dr. Ramesh appealed for deployment of Rangers
during the election and submitted the list of 77 polling stations
that were recently changed in the district.
“The Chief Election Commissioner has ensured to
consider the application on priority basis and marked its
copies to other EC members for discussion, and
necessary action,” he added.

Authority (CDA), Maroof Afzal has directed to complete all ongoing
development projects, particularly those prioritized, within
given time frame, also maintaining the quality of work.

Distributors Association has called upon the government to take
action against unethical business forces in the LPG market for
extending relief to consumers.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 26 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Monday
directed relevant government organisations to continue effective measures for evacuation of remaining stranded tourists from Naran, Mansehra.
The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of National Highway Authority
(NHA), National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), District Administration and Pakistan Army for providing assistance and for
evacuation of the people stuck due to heavy snowfall, land sliding
and road blocks.

Monday directed all federal civil and military agencies to declare
immediate alert and mobilize all resources to ensure security of the
citizens, following massive earthquake hitting several parts of the
country.
